Why P3
In Philippians 3 Paul talks about the glory, gain, and goal of knowing Christ. There are an infinite number of things that a person can chase in this life, but compared to Christ, they are all “rubbish.” We chose the name P3 Collective because we increasingly see churches chasing after worldly ideologies and “Jesus plus,” while stepping off a biblically grounded worldview.
We believe that Philippians 3 provides a solid base from which churches should seek to raise up and send out church planting teams. The American church must return to building upon a foundation of Christ alone. We must raise up pastors and planters who see Christ as their only gain.

Our Vision
We see church planting thriving at the local church level. We see a movement away from lone ranger leaders to a healthy (and biblical) plurality. We see a collective that is unified around the gospel. We see cities transformed by the witness of the church and a restoration of gospel-driven diversity within the church.
01
Local Church Autonomy
We believe that church planting thrives when it is rooted in the local church. We see a movement away from lone ranger leaders toward a healthy and biblical plurality of leadership.
03
Gospel Unity
Our collective is bound together by our unwavering commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ. This shared foundation fosters unity and collaboration among our member churches.
05
Gospel Driven Diversity
We seek the diversity that the gospel brings, embracing ethnic, socioeconomic, generational, and political diversity within the church. This rich tapestry of backgrounds and perspectives reflects the beauty and inclusivity of the Kingdom of God.
02
Plurality of Leaders
We envision a collective unified around the gospel, where a plurality of leaders, particularly elders, work together to plant and establish new churches.
04
Transformational Witness
We long to see cities transformed by the witness of the church, as believers live out the gospel in their communities and bear witness to the power of Christ.

Why We Exist
More than half of the American population is unchurched and American pastors are leaving (or considering leaving) their churches in record numbers (Barna study). We exist to see local churches empowered to plant churches. We exist to see a groundswell of gospel-centered team-based churches planted and revitalized to saturate cities with the gospel.
